Sorry, I've been slackin' on the blog ever since we were in vacation mode. now, I'm trying to get back on track...waking up early again, going to work, having Paris ready for her summer camp, etc. etc.

BUT anyway, we finally got our family portraits done yesterday (August 9, 2009)! woohoo! it's about freakin' time! haha. we had a great time working with DCPG and are very happy with what we've seen so far. here's a link to some of the photos! http://photos.dc-pg.com/cabatit.

what made it so special was when Chris proposed to me!!! shoot, I'M ENGAGED Y'ALL!!! =D lol. like a lot of people have said, it's about time! haha. I'm still in shock, though. I did NOT expect it to happen during our family photo shoot. I've explained it to many..that it was one of those proposals where I turn around for a sec, and when I turn back, Chris was on his knee holding the ring out. He told me later on that he was going to give a speech, but I guess he was so nervous that all that came out of his mouth was "Pam, will you marry me?" like super fast and in a low voice. lol! and what's weird is that I didn't cry?! is that crazy of me? I dunno...maybe I was in such shock...or like I've told some..maybe I'm all cried out from wondering when my time would come. *sigh* but I'm so happy! and I love Chris sOoOo..much! =D

after our family portraits, we had dinner w/our family and discussed our plans for a destination wedding in 2011. so start saving y'all!!! woohoo!
