first one...
I've always loved taking pictures. I have pictures from elementary school to now. I wish I could remember the cameras I used back in those days, but the first camera that was officially mine was a Canon Elph (in gold, of course!)

I used this a lot in my high school and college days. I actually miss taking pictures with a 35mm camera. The excitement of going to Walmart and having them developed in just 1 hour. getting doubles to give to friends, and then, putting them in albums for you to look back at. *sigh* those were the days! haha. but then came the digital cameras. I can't say that I owned one when they first came out. my sister had this humungous camera that used floppy disks to store the pix on...and boy, were there a lot of pix and memories taken on that camera?! =P then, my sister got a Sony Cybershot and eventually gave it to me around the time Paris was born.

I was known to always take pictures at all types of events, and that's how one of my many nicknames - PAMERA - came about. =) as mentioned in my previous blog, it's my dream to become a professional photographer one day and have that as a side job. unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to pursue it lately, but I'm eager to learn more about photography and I'm definitely looking forward to doing so in the near future.
but anyways....within a couple of years of having that Sony, I always had an eye for the digital SLR cameras. I dreamt of having a Canon Rebel XTI. when discovering "The Secret" and making my vision board, the first thing I ever put on there was a picture of the Canon Rebel XTI. and thanks to my family, I got it Christmas of 2007!

and yes, I cried...

I love, love, LOVE my camera, but it doesn't stop there!!! I recently added pictures of some of the cameras on Urban Outfitters to my vision board...so I'm crossing my fingers! I'm visualizing them already in my hands. haha.
to be continued...
