16. Go to my 10 year reunion
WOW. sorry for neglecting you, blog/101! :P
after all the stressful planning (along w/President, Jenn Palarca), the Tallwood High School Class of 1999 Reunion is done with! WOOHOO! okay, so it was, like, over a month ago, so I apologize for the late post.
Jenn & I started the planning process a year before -- exploring our venue options, figuring out how to pay for it all, etc. we knew the reunion would take place the weekend of the Homecoming game. well, time flew, and we weren't getting the ticket sales to help put a down payment for a venue. Only a month or so before the Homecoming game, we finally decided to go w/Granby Theater -- they only needed a small deposit and the rest was due the day before the event. So, we had to get a minimum number of ticket sales in a short period of time. it was all overwhelming, but with the help of fellow classmates passing the word along, we met our goal...and more people showed up in the end. all in all, I'm just glad it was a great turnout. and people were grateful for the hard work Jenn & I put into it.
there's plans for another '99 reunion in the summer - for those who couldn't make it to this one. and all I gotta say is that as long as I'm not planning it, go on ahead! :)
